Eehen! Now I wan channel my anger go for another matter wey dey pepper my body the wey Nigeria situation dey pepper me.
As I dey comot this morning, I see one small pikin of about 8 or 9 years dey sell fruits. I ask the little girl why she no go school this morning, her eyelids just lower. She tell me say, "Aunty, I no dey go school". Alarm just ring inside my head griiiiiing griiiiing! What?
Why people dey pleasure themselves in denying children their basic rights? Why people no fit make sacrifices for these little ones?
You parents wey dey born children wey una no fit train, who send you work? Na person give you assignment to born? Those children write you letter say make you bring them come into this world when you no get better plans for them? Abi you hear say na by force say person must born?
You, miserable sympathizers wey dey pretend to care for these children under the guise of guardians or whatever, who send you? When you go carry pikin with the assurance say you go help but as soon as you carry am reach your house, story change. School, mba!, trade, no way! ordinary food nko? Whosai? Them born you born wickedness?
You nko, wey no mind to see children around your neighbourhood wey their future dey threatened either by ignorant adults or outright wicked parents/guardians/strangers? Why you dey keep quiet for such matter? Why you dey turn blind eye when you can move mountain for the sake of those children? How e be you for mind say you get plenty when people around you no get enough; some no even get at all?
As we dey blame government so, e go better if everybody begin give back to him immediate society. Help that family wey no get. Reach out to that helpless person. Look into the eyes of that child. You fit see/hear a silent cry for help. Do something positive make Nigeria better again.
